Beadoholique Bead Shop has a part time sales associate position available.  

We have two shops: "B1" on Louetta and Champion Forest Dr. and "B2" on 290 and Cypress-Rosehill

Applicant requirements include:

Flexibility to work at both our Spring and Cypress locations.

Weekend availability, both Saturday (10am-6pm) and Sunday (1pm-6pm)

Weekend availability (usually needed 3 weekends out of the month, sometimes 4 if month has 5 weekends)

Retail sales experience

Jewelry making/ beading knowledge preferable


Job Description:  
Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding
company assets.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and
acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.

Maintain an awareness of all new products, communications, promotions, and advertisements.

Generate sales by communicating class calendar information to customers.  

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping

Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.

Aid customers in locating merchandise.

Communicate customer requests to management.

Assist in completing price changes.

Assist in ringing up sales at registers and perform opening and closing procedures.

Light housekeeping, including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sand dusting.

Skills and Competencies:
Ability to communicate product information to generate sales

Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job

Ability to communicate with management, associates and customers

Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation

Ability to recognize security risks and thefts and know how to handle or prevent such situations.

Requirements:
Need the physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the
store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above   

Have the ability and flexibility to work varied hours/days and weekends. (including nights and holidays as needed, but very rare.  We
close for Christmas Eve, Christmas, day after Christmas, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day,
Easter, and Mother's Day.  We are open on Monday observed holidays.  B1 stays open until 7pm on Wednesday nights and B2 stays
open until 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights)
